  • Perform formal and informal testing on IBCS Product Line subassemblies and major end items at the Enhance Production and Integration Center (EPIC) in Madison, AL.
  • Testing includes a combination of manual and automated tests.
  • Accurately troubleshoot test anomalies and report findings clearly and concisely within the production tracking system.
  • Analyze complex engineering drawings.
  • Brief the customer on anomalies found throughout production.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation (checklists, procedures, and Test Readiness Reviews).
  • Assist in developing and maintaining configurations on Cisco and other COTS network equipment and radio hardware.
  • Work with multidisciplinary team to develop and improve automated test tools.
  • Support IBCS and other manufacturing efforts at EPIC, as needed, to meet schedule and surge efforts.
  • May require extended hours and/or weekend work.
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years (or Master's with 3+ years) in systems and test engineering or 9 years with a high school diploma of experience in test engineering.
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Current Security+ certification.
  • Proficient with Cisco network configuration and administration, as well as RHEL systems.
  • Skilled in writing technical documents such as test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Familiarity reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Strong hardware and network troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical details to internal and external customers.
  • Adaptable to high-pressure, dynamic environments.
  • Able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • LINUX+ certification.
  • Cisco certification(s).
  • Knowledge of mesh radios, RF-based communications, and routing protocols.
  • Advanced expertise in routing, switching, and debugging network-oriented applications.
  • Background in developing and executing integrated hardware/software testing for IP-based Tactical Networks using RHEL systems and Cisco devices.
  • Experience with scripting and command-line operations in RHEL and Windows environments.
  • Experience integrating COTS, GOTS, and custom software in security-controlled environments.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining automated network configuration and test tools.
