About The Position

We are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive cross-functional execution and strategic alignment for our Marketing, Membership, MAP, and Data Engineering organization. This role is focused primarily on large-scale programs but will also include ownership of emerging Agentic AI initiatives leveraging Model Context Protocol (MCP) to accelerate data-driven insights and automation. What you'll do... As a Principal TPM, you will partner closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to design and deliver programs that ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance of our data infrastructure, while incubating lightweight AI capabilities that integrate seamlessly into our data workflows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Technical Program Management experience.
  • Proven success delivering large-scale programs and data products in complex organizations.
  • Experience with cloud data ecosystems (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS/GCP/Azure data services).
  • Exposure to AI/ML workflows, and interest in Agentic AI, MCP, frameworks.
  • Strong technical literacy across data pipelines, ETL/ELT, governance, observability, and AI integration patterns.
  • Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills.
  • Ability to create management systems that scale across multiple products and engineering teams.
  • Ability to align technical strategy with measurable business outcomes.
  • Bias for action with structured execution discipline.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, innovation, and scaling new capabilities.
  • Collaborative leadership style that builds trust across engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Passion for creating enterprise-grade data products and how they can transform member experiences and business operations.

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
  • Option 2: 8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.

  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area and 4 years’ experience in product design.

Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact data engineering programs (pipelines, governance, observability, storage, and analytics platforms).
  • Own roadmaps and outcomes, ensuring alignment across business, product, and engineering partners.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Translate strategic goals and product roadmaps into program delivery roadmaps and measured business value.
  • Serve as the connective tissue across Engineering, AI, Security, Product, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Build executive-level visibility with clear metrics and reporting.
  • Agentic AI / MCP Integration Identify opportunities where Agentic AI workflows or MCP-based integrations can improve data discovery, orchestration, and automation.
  • Partner with AI engineers to scope, pilot, and deploy small-scale AI features that complement the core data platform.
  • Evaluate trade-offs between cutting-edge experimentation and operational robustness.
  • Governance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and privacy standards.
  • Anticipate delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Mentorship & Influence Mentor other TPMs and engineers on program execution best practices.
  • Act as a thought leader in scaling data programs across the organization.
