About The Position

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team delivers mission-critical applications for top tier enterprises around the world. We are looking for a focused and action-oriented leader who will build scalable processes and solutions to solve complex business challenges. As a Hardware Planning Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of network planning initiatives that ensure OCI infrastructure can meet current and future demand. You will work closely with network engineering, supply chain operations, and delivery teams to understand infrastructure requirements, optimize resource utilization, and mitigate constraints and risks. This role will report to the Director of Hardware Planning and will be responsible for: Forecasting and Inventory Strategy: Develop and maintain capacity models to forecast hardware demand. Collaborate with partner teams to understand industry demand trends and identify risks to continuously improve OCI's hardware strategy. Hardware Roadmap: Partner with engineering to incorporate product lifecycle into hardware forecast, including New Product Introductions (NPI) and End Of Life (EOL) planning. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential capacity risks and develop mitigation plans to avoid stockouts and ensure business continuity. Analyze resource utilization metrics (shortfalls, E&O) and work with partner teams to identify opportunities for optimization and implement best practices to improve efficiency. Process Improvement and Tooling: Continuously evaluate and improve planning processes and strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Leverage KPIs and metrics to make data driven decisions and measure improvement. Automate processes where possible to scale impact.
