The Role We’re looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager (IC4) who thrives on orchestrating complex, cross-functional work, bringing clarity, alignment, and execution to high-impact initiatives. You’ll work across multiple pillar teams to build programs that improve operational maturity, increase developer velocity, and enable OCI’s strategic customer engagements to scale predictably. You’ll be part strategist, part systems thinker, and part operator, partnering with engineering and product leads to connect business goals to execution. Your work will create the connective tissue that helps SCE scale sustainably as OCI grows. About the Team Strategic Customer Engineering (SCE) sits at the sharp edge of OCI’s growth engine, partnering directly with the world’s most influential companies to deliver dedicated cloud regions, AI infrastructure, and next-generation enterprise systems. This new horizontal program management and engineering team tackles cross-cutting scale challenges across SCE, building tools, programs, and processes that connect systems, automate workflows, and unlock speed at scale. We operate like an internal startup with executive sponsorship and the mandate to remove friction from OCI’s fastest-moving initiatives. This TPM role ensures that growth is scalable and sustainable — orchestrating the systems, programs, and operations that enable every other pillar to move faster.

  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional programs spanning multiple OCI pillar teams with focus on scalability and operational excellence.
  • Define and drive program strategy , milestones, and delivery plans across engineering, product, and operations.
  • Establish and evolve internal processes, systems, and tools that improve visibility, efficiency, and accountability across SCE.
  • Build structured execution frameworks to turn ambiguous initiatives into measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with TPMs, engineers, and leadership to identify friction points and drive cross-org solutions.
  • Communicate vision, progress, and impact clearly and consistently across technical and executive audiences.
  • Foster collaboration, alignment, and continuous improvement across distributed teams.
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, engineering, or technical leadership roles.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a cloud or large-scale infrastructure environment.
  • Strong understanding of program frameworks, risk management, and technical delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with engineering systems and automation tools (Jira, dashboards, OKRs, data pipelines).
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (3+ days onsite per week in Nashville HQ).
  • Prior experience in cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or enterprise-scale programs a plus.
  • Excel at connecting strategy to execution and thrive in ambiguous, dynamic environments.
  • Have experience leading technical programs across multiple product or infrastructure teams.
  • Are fluent in both technical and business domains — understanding how to translate between them.
  • Enjoy building scalable systems and processes that outlast individual projects.
  • Communicate with clarity, empathy, and influence across a range of stakeholders.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
