About The Position

As a Security Operations Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating security operations programs, projects, and initiatives within the OCI ecosystem. You will work closely with various teams, including security engineering, cloud operations, and product development, to enhance security measures and respond to emerging threats. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent program management skills, and a strategic mindset to drive security improvements across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage security operations programs, including threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and security standards. Develop and maintain security processes, playbooks, and documentation to streamline security operations and incident management. Coordinate and facilitate communication between security teams, cloud operations, and other stakeholders during security incidents and investigations. Analyze security metrics, logs, and data to identify trends, potential vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement in security operations. Implement and manage security tools, technologies, and automation to enhance threat detection and response capabilities. Stay updated on emerging security threats, attack vectors, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for security enhancements. Collaborate with the product development teams to integrate security best practices into the cloud service offerings. Mentor and guide junior team members and promote a culture of continuous security improvement. Responsibilities Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 5+ years of experience in a technical program management role within the cybersecurity domain. Strong technical background in cloud security, network security, incident response, and security operations. Proficiency in cloud technologies, preferably with OCI or similar cloud providers. Excellent program management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, and risk management. Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM systems, and security automation is highly desirable. Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar security certifications are a plus. Familiarity with security regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI DSS). Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.   • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
