About The Position

KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems (MAGS) division delivers mission engineering solutions for critical U.S. Army programs, specializing in aviation and ground systems, integrated air and missile defense, and threat and target systems. The individual will identify problems with the C-UAS Program Office along with recommendations for resolution and report status and resolution back to CONUS and OCONUS C-UAS units/leadership. The individual will participate in Site Surveys to develop plans for installation of C-UAS capability at new locations CONUS and OCONUS. The individual will monitor the performance of the installation contractor and provide observations/comments to the C-UAS Program Office. Individual will also keep the C-UAS Program Office informed of any changes in priorities or plans related to C-UAS systems CONUS and OCONUS.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in operating, working with Air and Missile Defense Systems, Communications Networks design, Electronic Warfare equipment and integration of those elements.
  • Five or more years working in the areas described above will equate to two years’ worth of college.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • Desired associates of science degree in engineering or computer related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • Prefer Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or computer related field from an accredited college or university required
  • Experience working with Air and Missile Defense Systems, Communications Networks design, Electronic Warfare equipment and integration of those elements are a plus.
  • Experience developing communications architectures and integration to Air Defense weapon or command and control systems
  • Working knowledge of Department of the Army Acquisition processes, procedures, policies, requirements and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Define and present solutions to systems integration issues between multiple systems such as the C-UAS C2 System, C-UAS sensors (example: KURFS, LCMR and Fre finder radars) and effectors (example: Coyote, LPWS), network issues and all other issues related to C-UAS systems fielded.
  • Train, analyze the interfaces and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Interact with Military, Government, and contractors to accomplish the mission.
  • Support of C-UAS systems at CONUS and OCONUS locations will be required.
  • Individuals will be deployed in 6-month rotations.
