As a Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will play a pivotal role in understanding customer needs and synthesizing data from various sources to drive product outcomes that exceed expectations. Your primary focus will be on simplifying and creating broad, portfolio-level value propositions that help customers understand how cloud technology can be effectively applied in their businesses. This position requires a deep understanding of both technology and business, allowing you to connect the dots between different AWS capabilities and services to ensure that we are building and marketing the right offerings to meet customer needs. In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience as a technologist who has worked closely with customers utilizing cloud capabilities. You will synthesize external and internal data from multiple sources and collaborate with AWS Product Managers across various services. Your responsibilities will include guiding feature prioritization, ensuring consistency across services, and developing compelling positioning and messaging at the portfolio level. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of AWS services, including Analytics, Developer Tools, Compute, Databases, Generative AI, Observability, and Security, based on your experience and interests. AWS is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, and as such, you will be expected to advocate for customers during the product development process, ensuring their needs are met. You will also be involved in generating content artifacts such as presentations and demos to educate customers about our offerings. Collaboration with other AWS teams will be essential to ensure that value propositions are articulated clearly across various channels, including keynotes and marketing events. This role may require some travel, up to 15%.
