The Principal Technical Product Manager for Forecasting at Amazon.com Services LLC is a senior role focused on leading the development and enhancement of forecasting products within the Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) organization. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively present insights to C-level executives and drive product adoption across various business units. The role involves collaborating with scientists, economists, and business stakeholders to optimize forecasting analytics and ensure alignment with business strategies.

  • Work with the team of Topline scientists and economists, and business stakeholders to design and improve forecasting and develop insights.
  • Identify business opportunities to expand, automate, or optimize Topline analytic products.
  • Manage a major product or suite of products and drive adoption of the product with stakeholders and customers.
  • Write Product Requirement Documents laying out the vision of Topline products that will form the foundation of functional and technical requirements and execution plan for product delivery.
  • Drive strategic upward product communications, including decision narratives and investment proposals.
  • Drive alignment on product features, business metrics, and business strategies.
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements.
  • 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience in technical product management.
  • Strong business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in simple and easy to understand narratives across organizations.
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Competitive salary ranging from $161,900 to $279,900 based on location and experience.
