About The Position

E R M is s eeking a Power Platform Technical Consult a nt (Principal Technical Cons u ltant ) to join our growing team. As pa r t of a new and d ynam i c group within ER M —a l e adi n g global environment a l orga n izatio n —you will collaborate closely with our P o wer Platform Team to design and d e liver Microsoft s olutions. The role will focus on d eveloping C a n v as Power Apps and creat i ng Power BI repo r ts that align w ith organizat i onal s tandards .

Requirements

Bachelo r ’s degre e in c o mputer scienc e or rel ev ant Microso f t certificati o n/accreditat i on .
Minimum of 6 -8 years of industr y experience .
Practical experience wi t h Power BI Desktop .
Understanding of Pow e r B I S e r vice (rep o rt pub l ishing and shari n g ) .
Basic prof i ciency in D A X (Data A nalysis Expressions) .
Ability to c o nnec t Power B I to dat a sources su c h as Excel , SQL S e r ver, and SharePoint .
Skill in creatin g and customizing visua l s, ch a rts, and slicers .
Knowledge of dat a mo d eling, including relatio n ships and calculated columns/measures .
Experience building dashboards and interactiv e reports .
Famili a rity wit h filters, slicers, and d rill-t h rough features .
Experience with data transformatio n using Power Que r y .
Excellent English communication skills, bot h written and verbal .

Nice To Haves

Exposure to scheduled refreshes and Power BI Gateway (preferred) .
Demonstrated part i cipation in real - worl d Power BI projects (industr y domain is flexible).
Basic awareness of se c urity and sh a rin g features; Ro w-Level S ecurity knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Canvas and Model-Driven Power A p ps to me e t business and client needs .
Build and m anage Dataverse databases and e n sure effective inte g rati o n within the Power Platf o rm .
Create data models a n d visualizations in Powe r B I that provide acti o n a ble insights .
Partn e r with st akeholders to gathe r requirements, assess business challenges, and deliver effective low - c o de/n o- code solutions .
Collab o rate with UX De s igners, data analysts, data scientists, an d the Power Platfor m Lead to deliver comprehensive digital solutions .
Develop and maintain workflows and automa t ions using Power Aut o mate, including Robotic Pr o cess Automation (RPA) .
Build conversat i onal e x periences with Powe r Virtua l A gents and create external- facin g solutions with Power Pages/Portals .
Test solutions agains t requirements, ensuring functionalit y and al i gn m ent with accepta n ce criteria .
Troubleshoot, resolve, and co n tinuously improve existin g Power P l atf o rm solutio n s .
Incor p orate stakeh o lder fe e dback into develo p ment cycles an d main t ain clear communication o n delive r y progress .
Provide input on projec t estimates a n d pipeline planning to supp o rt te a m and organizational gro w th .
