What Your Impact Is In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted technical authority and program leader, driving high‑quality environmental data solutions for remediation, compliance monitoring, and operational programs. You’ll oversee complex EQuIS-based architectures, advise clients on regulatory and program requirements, and ensure that ERM teams deliver consistent, scalable, and technically sound outcomes. Your expertise will not only influence project success but also contribute to the advancement of ERM’s global environmental data management capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, data management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 6+ years of experience in environmental data management, including leadership on complex, multi‑site programs.
  • Proven experience delivering projects with EarthSoft EQuIS as a core platform.
  • Experience managing or supporting programs/projects, including scope, schedule, and resource coordination.
  • Experience providing functional or people leadership to technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of environmental data workflows (laboratory, field, regulatory reporting).
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, data validation, and data quality practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident working with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Some travelling is required to client sites based on business needs.

  • Experience supporting remediation, compliance monitoring, or operational environmental management programs.
  • Hands‑on experience with EQuIS integrations, automation, or advanced reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or oversee the delivery of environmental data management solutions centered on EQuIS.
  • Provide technical direction for EQuIS configuration, schema design, data loading, validation, and reporting.
  • Support complex data migrations across historical site, lab, and field datasets.
  • Define and apply EQuIS-driven data governance standards, naming conventions, and quality controls.
  • Provide program- or project-level oversight for complex, multi‑site, multi‑year environmental data initiatives.
  • Develop and manage plans, schedules, budgets, and resourcing in collaboration with project managers and account leads.
  • Identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and regulatory constraints.
  • Support client governance structures, including reporting, issue tracking, and steering committee communication.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor for EQuIS-based environmental data engagements.
  • Translate regulatory, operational, and program needs into platform configurations, workflows, and reporting solutions.
  • Support proposal development, scopes of work, and technical estimating.
  • Partner with account teams to identify opportunities across analytics, automation, and data strategy.
  • Provide functional leadership and direction for Data Managers, overseeing workload prioritization and task management.
  • Support performance feedback, coaching, and professional growth aligned with ERM’s people practices.
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Develop and maintain EQuIS standards, templates, validation rules, and reusable delivery assets.
  • Ensure environmental data projects meet ERM’s quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
  • Apply rigorous data review, validation, and documentation practices aligned with regulatory and program requirements.
