About The Position
Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. As a Principal, Technical Business Development you will lead partnerships for device OEM's and chipset manufacturers. You have demonstrated expertise in negotiating highly technical commercial deals global device and chipset manufacturers. 10037
Requirements
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
Responsibilities
- Demonstrated expertise in driving complex deals with device OEMs and chipset manufacturers
- Deep understanding of 5G protocols and systems implementation
- Expertise in 5G standards
- Strong executive presence and business writing, financials and communication skills
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met to enable global services
- The role will include up to 25%-50% of business travel.
