Job Summary Job Description DUTIES: Provide technical leadership in planning, developing, and delivering new technical programs; perform technical project management using Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Project; audit, monitor, and assess information systems using Confluence, Jira, JQL for data querying, and PostgreSQL and MySQL databases; work with project management methodologies and frameworks including Project Management Institute (PMI) framework, Agile framework, Scrum, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Information Systems Auditing framework; query data using SQL in database sources including Jira and Wiki; assess and manage vulnerabilities in information systems (using Splunk, Qualys, and Rapid7), IT governance (using Smartsheet and external auditor tools), and security (using Splunk); use AWS; write Shell Scripts; alignment for strategic programs, coordinating among a wide range of cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure that programs are within the scope, within budget, and on schedule; drive the scope of programs as defined by business requirements and the budget process; lead key planning milestones for technical projects; consult on the overall technical program management framework for each initiative; identify, confirm, and obtain participation from cross-functional teams; lead the development and management of program plans; ensure management of upstream and downstream dependencies; identify business and operational goals and success criteria; obtain and assign resources to the program plan; determine cost and budget and perform resource forecasting; analyze areas of risk to avoid risky activities; establish contingency plans and identify trigger events; analyze actual performance against the project plan; ensure program milestones are accomplished and overall committed timelines are met; ensure quality of program deliverables; contribute to the development and implementation of program management best practices; and guide and mentor junior-level team members. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and seven (7) years of experience performing technical project management using Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Project; auditing, monitoring, and assessing information systems using Confluence, Jira, JQL for data querying, and either PostgreSQL or MySQL database; working with project management methodologies and frameworks including Project Management Institute (PMI) framework, Agile framework, Scrum, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Information Systems Auditing framework; querying data using SQL in database sources including Jira and Wiki; assessing and managing vulnerabilities in information systems (using Splunk, Qualys, and Rapid7), IT governance (using Smartsheet and external auditor tools), and security (using Splunk); of which five (5) years include using AWS; and writing Shell Scripts Disclaimer: This information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this role.
