Whole Foods Market is looking for a strategic, data-driven employee experience champion to lead the Team Member listening strategy and programs. This role focuses on leveraging employee listening programs to generate insights and drive action within the organization, ultimately supporting business outcomes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between people analytics and leadership, using data-driven insights to address operational challenges.

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of the companywide Team Member listening program.
  • Own end-to-end program management including survey design, platform configuration, project and communication planning, and action planning resources.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap to grow and evolve the program in support of business needs.
  • Mobilize key stakeholders to operationalize and simplify the organization's approach to Team Member sentiment reporting and action planning.
  • Partner with data scientists and analysts to leverage sentiment data to drive business outcomes and deliver insights to frontline leaders.
  • Measure Team Member sentiment on Whole Foods Market mission and analyze correlation to key people and business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with business analytics leaders to understand how sentiment data correlates with other business indicators.
  • Train and optimize user dashboards for accessibility and simplicity of use.
  • Conduct interviews and focus groups to contextualize quantitative data.
  • Implement program governance best practices to balance insights democratization with confidentiality.
  • BA/BS degree and 6-8 years relevant experience in employee experience, employee listening, talent insights, or human resources management.
  • Expertise in measuring and analyzing employee sentiment in the workplace.
  • Experience with statistical programming (R preferred).
  • Comprehensive understanding of Retail, Human Resources, and People Analytics.
  • Experience managing third-party vendor relationships.
  • Excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with grocery retailers or companies with large frontline employee workforces.
  • Educational background in a social/behavioral science field such as Industrial Organizational Psychology.
