About The Position

AT&T is seeking a Talent Planning Expert to be part of our Talent Planning & Development team and partner closely with the AVP of Talent Planning & Development to design and deliver the enterprise talent planning process across AT&T. This high-exposure role works closely with key stakeholders to deliver an enterprise-wide talent planning process, enable and develop tools, resources, and processes that support the building of internal mobility pipelines, and deliver data-driven insights on the health of our talent pipeline strategies. The right candidate is comfortable in a high-touch environment, where they are not only leveraging partnerships to design and build new processes, but also identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and managing unique one-off operational situations that arise when supporting a complex organization through a talent transformation. This individual will have a deep understanding and passion for the Talent Management function, including the tools, technology, data, and processes. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a proven consultative approach, strong program management skills, and experience leading organizational change. This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired
  • 7+ years of HR, Talent Management, or related experience.
  • Expert knowledge in your field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results.
  • Ability to lead critical, high-impact projects and design/implement innovative business strategies.
  • Ability to work with minimal oversight often consulting with senior leadership; able to influence executive decisions.
  • Passion for mentoring and assisting others with complex/challenging issues.

Responsibilities

  • Design, Build, and Improve Talent Planning Processes: Critical role in the creation and ongoing enhancement of enterprise-wide talent planning processes, collaborating closely with HR, COE, and business stakeholders to ensure strategies support organizational goals.
  • Serve as Primary Talent Planning Contact: Act as the main point of contact for all Talent Planning needs, building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners while fostering a customer-first environment.
  • Drive Process Efficiency and Technology Adoption: Identify, implement, and continuously improve processes and technologies that streamline Talent Planning operations and enhance the experience for stakeholders.
  • Develop and Maintain Talent Management Tools: Create interactive, user-friendly toolkits and resources for HR partners and leaders, ensuring accessibility and simplicity through continuous feedback and iterative prototyping.
  • Own Talent Metrics, Reporting, and Insights: Partner with team to analyze talent pipeline data, report on key metrics, and synthesize trends into actionable insights and compelling executive presentations to support data-driven talent decisions.
  • Lead Change Management and Communications: Develop and deliver clear, impactful communications, training materials, and presentations to drive understanding and adoption of Talent Planning initiatives. Oversee meeting agendas, SharePoint resources, and facilitate alignment across the HR community.
  • Champion Stakeholder Engagement and Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional working groups and gather stakeholder feedback to optimize frameworks, address adoption barriers, and ensure Talent Planning strategies remain aligned with business needs.
  • Culture and Teamwork: Foster a consultative and collaborative environment across all partners, promoting a culture of excellence, data-driven discussions, intellectual curiosity, and teamwork.
  • Confidentiality & Professionalism: Consistently exercise sound judgment and discretion with highly confidential and proprietary company information.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Complete special projects and other duties as assigned to support the ongoing goals of the team.
