The Principal Systems Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-level systems supporting mission-critical operations. This role involves working with ONEROOF, PITCHHITTER, NiFi, and various Systems Administration components to ensure seamless virtualization, Linux and Windows environments, and integration of GOTS (Government Off-The-Shelf) products.

  • Architect, configure, and maintain systems leveraging ONEROOF, PITCHHITTER, and NiFi for optimized workflows and data processing.
  • Provide virtualization support for both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems to ensure high availability and compliance with security standards.
  • Deploy, manage, and integrate GOTS products within complex system architectures.
  • Oversee Windows Server administration, including performance tuning, security enhancements, and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust system designs and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and implement best practices for system security, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Bachelor's degree in an accredited engineering field or related discipline plus 20 years of systems engineering experience; OR High School Diploma/GED plus 25 years of general systems engineering experience.
  • Proven experience with ONEROOF, PITCHHITTER, and NiFi.
  • Strong background in Linux and Windows Server administration, virtualization technologies, and GOTS product integration.
