At Raytheon, the foundation of everything we do is rooted in our values and a higher calling – to help our nation and allies defend freedoms and deter aggression. We bring the strength of more than 100 years of experience and renowned engineering expertise to meet the needs of today’s mission and stay ahead of tomorrow’s threat. Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Discipline organization is the central focus for Mission Systems Integration activities within Raytheon, responsible for defining customer needs, functional and product architecture, requirements definition and decomposition, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), system performance, and System Security Engineering (SSE). The Radar Systems Department within the System Engineering Directorate has a charter to be the pre-eminent Systems Engineering team providing subject matter expertise for concept development, architectural design, requirements generation & flowdown, modeling and simulation, systems analysis, integration, test and evaluation of world-class Surveillance Radar Systems to be achieved through our people, processes, technology and performance. The Radar Systems Department has an opportunity that crosses both the Systems Engineering and Software Engineering disciplines, looking for individuals eager to develop software to support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in a Radar Product Line environment. The key tenant of MBSE is integration of data from various system engineer tools (such as SysML modeling and requirements management). In this position the individual will be developing and deploying solutions to manage and analyze complex system engineering data from many different sources. These capabilities are critical to the success of the Radar systems being developed in the product line. This position can be located in either Marlborough, MA or Tewksbury, MA and may require occasional travel.
