Principal Systems Engineer IV (Government)

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located at customer's site. No relocation is offered. AT&T has an opening for a Principal Systems Engineer to support the architecture, engineering, development, integration, and sustainment of complex IT systems for the government customer. This role provides technical and engineering services across the full lifecycle, ensuring performance, reliability, and security of mission-critical environments.
Requirements
- TS/SCI or Secret clearance (#tssci) (#secret)
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field of study, 11 years of relevant experience
- Security+ certification required

Responsibilities
- Support the performance of system integration, performance analysis, requirements engineering and management, testing and evaluation, and other systems engineering disciplines for successful systems solution development, design, implementation, and decommissioning.
- Provide technical and engineering support services to ensure the architecting, engineering, development, implementation, integration, deployment and sustainment of systems.
- Perform analysis, design, deployment and life cycle support for innovative IT systems, applications and services and ensure all aspects of a project system are properly evaluated and integrated with the end capability.
- Perform engineering analysis. And disconnected and legacy systems to identify duplicative capabilities, gaps, critical activities, candidates for scaling to enterprise level, streamlining opportunities, efficiencies and overall area for improvement.
- Identify issues affecting end to end performance of systems, provide engineering support to system test and modeling efforts, and assist in the development and implementation of strategic solutions.
- Support analysis and determination of risk probability and impact prioritization of perceived risk and established risk monitoring and management strategies.
