As a Human Factors Engineer, you will be using your skills and expertise to research, design, test, certify, and improve cutting-edge products and services. Your role will involve identifying and implementing human engineering design criteria for systems, guiding them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and testing using progressive tools. You will take on system-level ownership of new products and processes throughout the product life cycle, ensuring that all aspects of human factors engineering are addressed. This includes overseeing both FAA and Military human factors arenas, acting as the subject matter expert for human factors engineering design, and engaging directly with customers to understand their needs and expectations. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, recognized as a prime integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. The IAS team provides end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications, and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities, which encompass design, integration, testing, certification, ground/flight training, and complete logistics support.
