We are excited to announce an opportunity for the Coyote Effector Systems Deputy Integration and Test (I&T) Lead role to join our team in Tucson, AZ. The Lead will work across all integration and flight test activities. This lead will need to be able to ensure all program SI&T activities are correctly scheduled, resourced, and effectively supported to meet program and customer milestones. This Lead will manage a team of SI&T engineers that will support development efforts, launcher integration events, and program flight tests for the Coyote Effector. This lead will be responsible for the manpower planning and growth of the Integration & Test team as well as proposal and planning efforts. Requirements

  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or Math and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with preparing test related reviews (CTS, TRR & ESRB’s) and with developing and executing test plans
  • Experience with hardware and software integration, preferably on military platforms
  • Experience with lab environment, electrical troubleshooting, utilization of lab equipment and hardware builds
  • Experience as Integrated Product Team Lead or team member of an Integrated Product Team
  • Experience evaluating requirements and Verification/Validation methods
  • Experience with the use of lab/field test equipment
  • Experience with direct customer engagements
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in implementing Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Experience in Cost Account Manager (CAM) role and ability to gain PM cert within six months of starting the position
  • Experience with Coyote effector flight test operations
  • Experience creating integration and verification strategies/procedures
  • Experience in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience with missile/launcher/munitions such as TOW, Stinger, Excalibur, or Coyote
  • Experience with bidding and proposal support
  • Experience with executing on a rapid turn/fast paced program
  • Experience delivering presentations to leadership, collaborating across functional teams and organizations (internal and external), effective planning, and organizational skills
  • Experience in RF Datalink Telemetry, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms
  • Experience is establishing and configuring labs including spread benches, Hardware in the Loop Setups, Microsoft and Linux Servers and emulators

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers in integration and flight test tasking in preparation for lab and field test execution
  • Make cost and schedule decisions to meet monthly and annual reporting requirements
  • Perform integration, verification, and field qualification testing to ensure the system under test performs according to specifications/requirements
  • Perform data collection activities, including review and analysis of data elements, and provide detailed reports of results
  • Create and modify documentation in support of reviews associated with formal testing, which may include Consent to Ship (CTS), Test Readiness Review (TRR) and Test Data Review (TDR) packages
  • Support field testing and occasional travel for durations typically for a one- or two-week duration
  • Support Proposal and EAC activities
  • Support customer meetings
