About The Position

The Principal Systems Architect at ProPharma Distribution is a trusted, hands-on technical role responsible for ownership, stability, and continuous improvement of the Company’s core operational systems. This position focuses heavily on Acumatica ERP, supporting procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, integrations, data integrity, and system customizations. This role is not a general IT support position. It is a system focused architecture and development role with administrator level access and responsibility for long term system ownership, documentation, and operational efficiency. This position is expected to evolve as Company systems mature. Responsibilities and scope will be reviewed periodically based on business needs.

Requirements

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Acumatica
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and data driven workflows
  • Working knowledge of SQL, integrations, and structured data
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize based on business impact
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills
  • High level of discretion and trustworthiness
  • Comfortable working in a regulated pharmaceutical distribution environment
  • Ability to balance speed, stability, and long-term system ownership

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal technical owner of Acumatica ERP
  • Design, implement, and maintain Acumatica customizations and enhancements
  • Review, document, and maintain existing customizations and system logic
  • Manage and improve system integrations, import scenarios, and data cleanup
  • Support EPCIS and e-pedigree related data flows and system mapping
  • Maintain data integrity, audit readiness, and system reliability
  • Provide administrator level system support and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with third party vendors only when required
  • Maintain clear technical documentation for systems and customizations
  • Assist with sandbox, testing, and controlled change deployment
  • Support break fix issues for business-critical integrations and workflows
  • Perform additional system related duties as assigned by leadership
