About The Position
Tripadvisor is looking for an enthusiastic, organized, and eager Principal Systems and Operations Specialist to join the Tripadvisor family to help support the GPS team and the broader business. The Principal Systems and Operations Specialist plays a critical role in the success of Tripadvisor's media systems infrastructure. As a senior individual contributor, this role is responsible for delivering high-impact initiatives across our media tools and technologies - including but not limited to Placements.IO (PIO), Google Ad Manager (GAM), Salesforce, and other business-critical systems - while influencing cross-functional alignment and innovation. This role requires a strong mix of technical fluency, project ownership, and stakeholder management. The Principal Specialist is expected to think strategically, execute independently, and drive system-oriented projects to support revenue, process optimization, and business growth. They act as a partner to Sales Planning, Finance, Product, Ad Ops, and external vendors - proactively identifying needs, leading cross-functional initiatives, and ensuring that systems and processes scale with the business.
