The Principal Subcontract Control Specialist will be a key contributor to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures, contractual terms, and FAR Property regulatory requirements. The primary requirement is to ensure subcontractors can protect and manage all Customer and Raytheon owned property. This includes conducting complex rigorous audits and inventories at >385 Raytheon Missile and Defense (RMD) subcontractors. These audits are both virtual and on-site.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum three (3) years' experience.
  • Experience working with contracts, Supply Chain, and/or Property Management.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • National Property Management Association, CPPS certification or able to obtain certification within 12 months of employment.
  • Working knowledge of SAP (APEX, PRISM), cPDM, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-Starter requires minimal supervision, as well as the ability to manage priorities.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships based on mutual respect with peers, customers, and team members.
  • Experience in government property and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) compliance areas including interpreting and implementing FAR and DFAR contract property requirements.
  • Adapts quickly to changing situations and urgent requests to ensure that business needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with Subcontractors to ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations.
  • Conduct online surveys or site surveillances.
  • Perform inventories of Customer and Raytheon property at the Subcontractor.
  • Research, retrieve and perform transactions in various business systems utilized by Property Management.
  • Support compliance with all regulations and internal/external audit protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with customers (both internal and external) to shape proactive relationships.
  • Maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.
