About The Position

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Overall Purpose: Develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies and policies that maximize profitability and market share, while ensuring competitive positioning and effectively communicating them to stakeholders. Key Roles and Responsibilities: This role will focus exclusively on custom pricing and strategy for dark fiber deals. Dark fiber deals require a deep technical and analytical understanding, as well as the ability to effectively manage cross-functional inputs to deliver optimal outcomes. Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Formulate and execute data-driven pricing strategies and policies to optimize profitability, ensuring compliance with strategic, financial, and administrative guidelines. • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analyses to inform pricing decisions, providing strategic insights and advising on final pricing contracts. • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate the implications of proposed or implemented pricing policies to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. • Performance Evaluation and Financial Analysis: Utilize complex data modeling and financial analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making necessary adjustments to maximize impact. • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including cross-functional collaboration, customer insights integration, and utilization of pricing tools to enhance decision-making processes, ensuring all activities align with overall business objectives. Job Contribution: An expert in their field, applying broad business knowledge and strategic insight surrounding emerging trends and technologies to solve complex problems and drive organizational results. Leads critical, high-impact projects and designs/implements innovative business strategies. Works with minimal oversight, frequently consulting senior leadership and influencing executive decisions. Serves as a mentor and assists others with challenging issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
