About The Position

The Principal Strategic Operations and Communications Specialist at Northrop Grumman is responsible for enhancing the strategic approach to global engagements, including trade shows and executive events. Requirements

  • Strong relationship building skills and a proven track record of collaborative partnerships.
  • Polished speaker with executive presence and strong business acumen.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, strategic communications, and event planning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in account management and negotiation.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relations Management tools such as Salesforce.
  • Proficient in event project management tools like Perfect Table Plan and Smartsheet.
  • Experience with social media channels and content management systems.
  • Understanding of Associated Press Stylebook writing style.

Responsibilities

  • Help define strategic recommendations for global engagements based on data and business strategy.
  • Provide surge support for executive and business events globally, including project management and logistics.
  • Define measurement practices, identify key performance indicators, and analyze insights to improve future communications and events.
  • Collaborate with Integrated Marketing and Public Relations teams to promote key messages from events and media.
  • Apply user experience practices to present complex concepts compellingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners and executive leaders.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leaders on communications strategies and issues.
