About The Position

This role will be the finance lead to partner with Amazon's IT software
portfolio optimization strategy, managing the evaluation, negotiation, and
optimization of $2.3B+ in third-party software investments across Amazon IT,
AWS, and Amazon Procurement organizations. The position will architect
frameworks for usage-driven contract optimization, centralized contract
management, and AI-powered procurement analysis to drive significant cost
savings while establishing sustainable cost management processes. The role
requires cross-organizational influence without direct authority, partnering
with IT sourcing teams, procurement organizations, and business stakeholders
globally to challenge established norms and drive portfolio rationalization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
• Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages

Nice To Haves

• MBA, or CPA
• Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
