Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Strategic Deterrent Systems division has an opening for a Principal Proposal Analyst/ Sr Principal Proposal Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Division Capture Excellence team in our Roy, Utah. Secret clearance level required to start. The selected candidate must be able to work on site and be willing and able to travel if needed (up to 10%). Flexible/hybrid work arrangements may be possible at times and will vary based on proposal. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of government contracts, subcontracts, estimating and pricing, finance, business administration or other related experience OR a Master's Degree with 3 years OR PHD with 1 year OR 4 additional years in lieu of degree of related experience.
• Prior experience supporting and/or leading competitive and/or sole source proposals.
• Experience reviewing, understanding, and responding to customer requests for proposal (RFPs).
• Proficiency with MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with the U.S. Government’s acquisition process including familiarity with federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFAR).
• Must have an active DoD Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of experience in a defense/aerospace environment.
• Experience supporting large captures / proposals.
• Experience supporting competitive and sole source proposals with values greater than $250M.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support the Capture and Proposal Manager in development of efficient and effective proposal execution plans in response to solicitations from U.S. Government and other customers.
• Understanding of proposal operation’s role and responsibility within the Government Acquisition process.
• Provide support to the proposal team by developing, reviewing, and submitting proposals that effectively represent the proposal strategy and baseline.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with demonstrated abilities to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently with minimal or no day-to-day supervision.
• Work with the Capture and Proposal Manager and core team to develop the compliant proposal deliverables.
• Support Digital Transformation Office (DTO) projects that support capture and proposal management.
• Support Division proposal process, template, training, and tool development.
