Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) sector is seeking a Human Factors Engineer/User Researcher to support the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Fire Control system engineering activities in Colorado Springs, Colorado. No relocation assistance is available. The selected candidate will become part of the Ground Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Program in support of the GMD Weapon System (GWS) for the Missile Defense Agency. GMD employs integrated communications networks, fire control systems, globally deployed sensors and Ground-Based Interceptors that are capable of detecting, tracking, and destroying ballistic missile threats. The open position is in support of the design and development of the GMD Fire Control (GFC) product within the GWS program.
