This position will be located in Colorado Springs or Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Requirements

  • 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree in a STEM field of study; or 6 years of experience with a Masters; or 3 years of experience with a PhD.
  • US Citizenship with ability to obtain an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Electrical Engineer with some experience with hardware design.
  • Proficient with any electrical CAD tool set.
  • Must know how to design schematics and be good with detailed design work.
  • Familiar with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes.
  • Comfortable understanding mil-specs and have an ability to understand and clarify system hardware requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application.
  • Capital Logic, Harness, and Systems Architect tool experience.
  • Experience with Siemens Team Center PLM.
  • Hardware system architecture design and development experience.
  • Electrical hardware design expertise (not just cables).
  • IPC 620 experience.
  • Facility wiring experience (power or low voltage signal) including NFPA-70.

Responsibilities

  • Design, document, and test cables and or breakout boxes.
  • Conduct LRU interface research, process documents and collaborate with other engineers to determine best design for each set of cables.
  • Integrate delivered LRUs under direction of the technical lead.
