About the role: The North America Red Hat Telco team is seeking a Principal Specialist Solution Architect who will support the Sales teams, provide resales technical support to the prospects. The person will be responsible for working independently and setting the mid-term strategic direction, whilst exercising independent judgment and business acumen to work on and resolve highly complex issues that impact the success of critical projects, valuable relationships, and key business processes. This role may lead the activities of other professional staff, serving as an expert regional or functional subject matter expert, and mentors colleagues in their own discipline. The position collaborates closely with account teams, product engineering, customer success, and partner ecosystems to align solutions with business outcomes. You'll work with key Telecom customers both on-site and remotely to build a relationship of trust and confidence between Red Hat and the customer's engineering, development, and operations teams. To be successful, you'll need to gain an understanding of the customer's business needs and align those needs with the capabilities of our solutions. You will also play a crucial role in bringing together internal cross-functional teams to satisfy our most challenging customers. You'll serve as the customer's advocate with these teams to architect the best solution and ensure that it is implemented and supported in an innovative and reliable way. This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.
