As a Principal Security Specialist you must have the ability to prioritize, schedule and arrange activities in accomplishing objectives both within an individual and team environment. You must also possess excellent writing, verbal, organizational and customer service skills. You will be a self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • DoD Clearance: Secret
  • Active and existing security clearance required on day 1
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Willing to travel on company business
  • Exerience working with Microsoft Products

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, and Power Point) and other web-based computer programs
  • Knowledge of ICD/ICS 705 processes and construction standards
  • Knowledge of NISPOM processes and construction standards
  • Knowledge of building construction materials, standards, and practices

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of closed area construction projects
  • Working closely with Raytheon Facility Project Managers, and other internal stakeholders as well as government agencies.
  • Ensuring closed area construction is compliant with applicable standards.
  • Conducting assessments of existing space to determine security vulnerabilities,
  • Assisting in the design of modifications to ensure compliance, and providing other site security management responsibilities.
  • Creating physical assessment documents, compliance documents, photographic records of construction progress and final accreditation packages.
