About The Position

We are currently searching for a Program Support Specialist to join our Program Management Office (PMO) located in Fairfield, CA. The individual will be responsible for supporting the International Propulsion Program team in all activities associated with the pursuit, order, capture, and execution of existing and future programs. Emphasis is focused on supporting development and execution, as well as supporting program execution teams with a variety of activities such as: management of portions or entirety of program execution, financial reporting, customer interaction/action item reporting, subcontract management support, material statusing, customer deliverable management, risk and opportunity management, and all levels of coordination with the core program team. This position coordinates activities across the Collins shared services business model and requires collaborative working relationships with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, and IPP&C (Finance) points of contact in various instances of onsite, hybrid, and remote environments. Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience demonstrating the ability to strategically organize and complete projects, tasks and business objectives
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Prior Leadership experience and ability to lead IPTs through ambiguity and short deadlines
  • Prior external customer support/interface experience
  • Prior Program or Project Management experience preferred
