The Strategic Communications group is seeking an experienced Finance professional to support our Airborne & Sustainment portfolio. This position requires an individual who possesses overall business knowledge and is able to support financial reviews, as well as be comfortable interfacing with Program Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), and other cross functional organizations such as Contracts, Accounting, and Supply Chain. Remote: This is a remote-based position supporting our Marlborough, MA location. Relocation not provided.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Excel functions (Pivot Tables, Lookups, and relatable digital tools (SAP APEX) and the Microsoft Office Suite of tools

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in APEX EV (SAP) and working knowledge of the SAP functions
  • Experience with PMX Tool systems
  • Experience of applied EVMS principles, including Raytheon EVMS Certification
  • Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Capability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Financial controls experience relative to multiple contract types
  • Experience with Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures; Estimate at Completes (EACs) and EDIT+; and experience with RPlan or other financial forecasting tools
  • Experience with external reporting, and customer interactions (IPMDAR, CFSR, CSDR, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Monthly Earned Value (EV) reporting in compliance with DFARs and in accordance with the Raytheon 10255 policy Including monthly Latest Revised Estimates (LREs), Budget Change Requests (BCRs), EV Anomalies/Compliance checks, Integrated Program Management Data and Analysis Report (IPMDAR) deliverables, Monthly CFSR Deliverable and Yearly CSDR Deliverable
  • Support the creation of Estimate at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis at the Program/SBU Level
  • Maintenance of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in APEX/SAP and appropriate reporting to customer as needed
  • Perform detailed financial analysis for total program and at the CLIN level to help define and understand the monthly variances to Budget baseline and EAC positions
  • Prepare financial forecasts, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans and forecasts
  • An integrated part of a fast-paced finance team where strategic thinking, multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements
  • Provide support for ad hoc data reporting as well as participating in senior level projects and program initiatives
  • Support the preparation of cost estimates for new business proposals and assist Estimating and Pricing Analysts in developing rationale for basis of estimates
  • This position will support an Eastern Time Zone
