Responsibilities

  • Drive industrial rate readiness throughout the Value Stream for the Military Engines development programs.
  • Partner with the research and development team.
  • Ensure delivery, quality, and cost goals are met while identifying and mitigating risk.
  • Manage critical engineering changes to keep program commitment dates.
  • Support all program activities with the coordination and maintenance of the program industrial plan.
  • Monitor part improvements through Key Process Indicators and standard delivery metrics.
  • Support testing operations and work closely with vendor/partner relationships.
  • Work closely with subject matter design and manufacturing engineering to help problem solve and mitigate risks.
  • Travel up to 25% regionally and domestically.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations management, program/project management or similar industrial environment; OR Master's Degree with 3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • SAP/MRP experience.
  • Prior experience balancing and resolving conflicting priorities in a fluctuating environment.
  • Understands strategic and business implications and works to provide the best business solution.
  • Validated experience working with executive level management.
  • Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering.
