The Lab Lead shall ensure lab personnel operate to standard lab run rules and applicable RF & Microelectronics policies within the lab, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, 6S, FOD/FOE, Equipment Calibration, Raytheon Property controls, ESD controls, Housekeeping, Shelf-life Controls, Preventative Maintenance, and Ergonomics. This position is an onsite role, located in McKinney TX.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience with lab safety and 6S (Housekeeping)
  • Experience with the Quality processes regarding test equipment calibration requirements and AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits.
  • Experience with identifying root causes and implementing solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Asset Management Systems experience (Aramis and SAP)
  • Working Knowledge of SI&T lab run rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of ESD Controls (Garment control, wrist straps, SSWS, and monitoring)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Highly motivated self-starter; Can work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Support the test and evaluations of our products
  • Coordination and execution of Airborne Antennas engineering Lab requirements.
  • Maintain and standardize lab infrastructure, to meet program requirements.
  • Support AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits, DCMA audits and EHS audits.
  • Manage logistics of various Airborne Antennas competing contract requirements.
