The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: RTX Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our Business Systems Application Support team. This role involves the development, maintenance, and support of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with a particular emphasis on database experience as a must-have requirement. Candidates must possess excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. Additionally, experience with Agile methodologies, particularly SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential for success in this role.

  • Develop, maintain, and support business systems applications, ensuring they meet the needs of internal stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides.
  • Participate in Agile SAFe ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within the Agile framework.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in fullstack development, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Java, JavaScript, C# and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js). as well as Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
  • Experience with database technologies (e.g.,Oracle, SQL, NoSQL).
  • Application architectures and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), is essential.
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to application development and support.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Certification in SAFe or other Agile frameworks is a plus.
