The Principal Specialist, FP&A Operations is a critical role within the Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. This individual serves as an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for strengthening our financial planning infrastructure and driving operational excellence across our monthly business rhythm. The role is pivotal in ensuring seamless coordination of planning cycles, reporting deliverables, and system interfaces, while acting as a key liaison to various FP&A teams, business stakeholders, and our parent company in Japan. At a global level, the Principal Specialist leads initiatives to optimize FP&A operations, including the development and implementation of standardized processes, tools, and reporting frameworks that support strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with regional and functional FP&A teams to ensure alignment across planning activities, forecast accuracy, and performance tracking. The Principal Specialist also plays a key role in managing system integrations and enhancements, ensuring data consistency and reliability across platforms.
