Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, delivery assurance, procurement, or a related discipline OR and advanced degree and 3 years relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of government contracting and FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, delivery assurance practices, and supplier performance management.
  • 3+ years of experience working with supply chain management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery of materials, components, and services in support of program and production requirements.
  • Identify and address potential delivery risks by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop and implement recovery plans.
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track production schedules, capacity, and delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with procurement, quality, and program management teams to resolve delivery issues and align on priorities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of delivery delays and work with suppliers to establish corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Utilize supply chain management tools and systems to track and report on supplier delivery performance metrics.
  • Support initiatives to standardize and improve delivery assurance processes and practices.
  • Assist in the implementation of strategies to enhance supplier performance and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to internal stakeholders on supplier delivery status, risks, and recovery efforts.
  • Travel as needed.
