The following position is to join our RTX Corporate team: RTX Global Ethics & Compliance has an outstanding career opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Data Analyst to help build out the realigned Risk Assessments and Monitoring function. This position will report to the Director of Risk Assessment & Monitoring, Global Ethics and Compliance. This role, in partnership with the team, will help to improve the way the organization uses data. The team cuts across functional areas, supporting stakeholders across RTX. Our team is looking for members who are curious and enthusiastic about data, analytics, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or other.
  • Prior experience building and deploying business intelligence and data analytics solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP
  • Familiarity with compliance and audit practices and methodology
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma
  • Familiarity with change management principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Curiosity and creativity

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders across functional areas to understand key processes, data sources, and requirements.
  • Conduct analysis of business and compliance process data, focusing on our most challenging and complex datasets.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and validate dashboards, analytics and automation solutions
  • Work closely with the Digital Technology team to ensure data infrastructure meets organizational needs
  • Create documentation and standard work for deployed models.
