Requirements

  • Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations
  • Strong ability to demonstrate and persuade, using influencing skills and relating to prospective customers in a consultative manner
  • Confident working with and tailoring financial / accounting systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with / prospects / clients
  • Proven ability to understand and address partner / prospective client objections
  • Strong ability to match product functionality to the prospects' business needs
  • Demonstrate integrity, trustworthiness and good judgment
  • Previous enterprise level experience as a Solutions Consultant
  • Prior experience with BlackLine software

Responsibilities

  • Engage on strategic Invoice to Cash deals identified in the pipeline
  • Evaluate and provide functional knowledge of BlackLine Invoice to Cash to close the opportunity
  • Work with the BlackLine sales team to qualify, quickly and efficiently new Invoice to Cash Opportunities
  • Streamline the knowledge sharing of Invoice to Cash business value assessment and support continuous improvements in the delivery mechanism
  • Innovate and empower Invoice-to-Cash Solutions Consulting team on account engagement
  • Answer technical software and Invoice to Cash process questions
  • Perform needs analysis calls with prospective clients to thoroughly and accurately understand their challenges
  • Keep current on new product functionality and its proper use, including the latest Industry offerings and how to position BlackLine in competitive deals
  • Keep current on how key Industry ERP Offerings compete with BlackLine Invoice-To-Cash and build Product battlecards to support positive objection handling protocols
  • Deliver relevant and pertinent demonstrations of all Invoice-To-Cash modules based on prospect needs
  • Complete ROI Analysis for prospective clients
  • Assist with completion and review of requests for proposal and information (RFPs and RFIs)
  • Provide and review BlackLine best practices, use case scenarios and prospective client stories both internally and externally (including community) to assist prospective clients with expanded use of application functionality
  • Prepare and deliver effective custom demonstrations using prospect data
  • Provide coverage, education, and application expertise by attending partner/client/prospect roundtables, conferences and other events
  • Attend and participate in periodic local and global meetings / training sessions
  • Document relevant activities in Salesforce and other tools as assigned
  • Actively support the handover process to the implementation team
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures as they are developed, revised, and communicated
  • Observe and practice confidentiality regarding company information as appropriate
  • Demonstrate integrity, trustworthiness and good judgment
  • Preserve positive relationships with clients, teammates, prospects, and business Strategic Accounts
  • Keep current on industry best practices to support articulation of needs of customers evaluating Invoice-To-Cash solutions
  • Be able to clearly articulate and document how the I2C solution delivers value to clients, over and above ROI
  • Support business scalability through supporting enablement and continuous certification of wider SC community
  • Continuously evaluate, improve and ensure all customer facing content and collateral is aligned to functionality, corporate messaging and value realization
  • Other duties as assigned
