SAIC is seeking a Principal Software Systems Engineer in Huntsville, Alabama to support the Software, Simulation, Systems Engineering and Integration (S3I) organization at Redstone Arsenal. The Principal Software Systems Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Analysis of software requirements and specifications, provide input to system architecture design, participate in software development and sustainment activities, and triage and resolve help desk tickets from the field.

Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree
Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required
Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Microsoft .NET framework
Demonstrate the ability to write and test C# code
Demonstrate a working understanding of relational database design (Microsoft SQL Server preferred)
Show proficiency in writing queries and stored procedures
Have some experience building Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications
Have familiarity with MVC and MVVM design patterns
Demonstrate an understanding of object oriented design principles and best practices
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Knowledge of GIT
Knowledge of Army Aviation
