About The Position

Main Responsibilities: ● Lead (HW/SW) Hardware / Software Subsystem integration activities at the Holistic (MSV) Main Subsystem Vehicle or (KV) Key Vehicle level. ● Coordinate across various SW/HW teams to ensure vehicle functions are as intended. o This includes FPGA, Flight Software, Test SW, EGSE, STE, and Simulation. o Wherever HW touches, SW is within purview and a potential area for integration activities. ● Ensure end-to-end interface compatibility throughout the system inclusive of external interfaces. ● The expectation of this role will have authority to delegate tasks to the appropriate SEIT, Avionics, Firmware, Software, EGSE, STE, Testbed, and Test POCs. Design Integration Task: 1. Drive completion of any unresolved system level HW/SW interfaces and /or changes related to ERB. 2. Drive completion of subsystem level interface documents/models. 3. Drive closure of HW/SW integration issues from a design perspective as they are identified with the team. 4. Support relevant interface documentation reviews which include internal, SDRL, and CDRL. 5. HW/SW configuration definition, co-ops, and parameter management. Hardware building testing task: 1. Focus on test labs and hands on successful integration and V&V activities from a holistic perspective. a. Hardware fidelity pedigree b. Sim model V&V, hardware simulation functions adequately c. Drive progress and solve deficiencies when found 2. Assist with any HW/SW integration issues found in the lad with availability to assist with subsystems integration issues. a. Expectation heavy in person lab presence or delegation of this to supporting integrator FTEs. · Perform additional job duties as assigned.
