About The Position

Basic Requirements: ● Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline ● 8+ years of C, C++, and/or Ada software development experience ● Must have prior SW Development and Integration experience utilizing MIL-STD-1553 specifically or communications protocols such as ARINC 429 or Ethernet. ● Prior experience writing embedded software (C, C++, and/or Ada) ● Prior experience troubleshooting/debugging software on target hardware in lab/mock-up environments ● Prior experience in avionics or defense systems development ● Prior experience using IBM DOORS to author, review, and maintain software requirements with full traceability. ● Experience with real-time operating systems (e.g. Lynx, Green Hills, Wind River) ● Ability to professionally communicate project status and collaborate on technical solutions with clients and peers ● Ability to work onsite 100% Preferred / Additional Skills ● Master’s degree in a STEM discipline ● Experience developing embedded safety critical software in Ada ● Proficient with Linux and Windows development environments ● Proficient with Atlassian or similar tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.) ● Experience using static analysis tools (Parasoft, Coverity, SonarQube, or similar analysis tool) ● Experience with structural coverage and software test automation tools for embedded systems (e.g. VectorCAST) ● Experience with DO-178C, MIL-HDBK-516 and safety-critical software development practices ● Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA), ARINC 653 and flight software development ● Experience communicating and documenting complex technical designs ● Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills ● Ability to travel 10% Sound Exciting?
