Job Description: Will be responsible for the verification and quality assurance of all features on Routing/Switching platforms with regard to multi-dimensional scaled solutions based on Enterprise Campus and branch as well as Data Center Customer Use Case, for HPE’s large customer base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Typically 10+ years experience in system test engineering for networking technologies.
  • Experience designing and developing software systems design tools and languages.
  • Experience with VXLAN, AI clusters, Enterprise campus designs, IPv4/IPv6/Multicast forwarding, MPLS VPNs, EVPN, and HA features.
  • Strong knowledge of Layer 2, Layer 3, Data Center Fabrics including AI Fabrics.
  • Ability to create comprehensive test plans and reports, understand and execute adhoc, longevity and HALT testing, have experience in a Linux/UNIX environment.
  • S trong Python programming with a clear understanding of the pytest test framework.
  • H ands-on experience with Spirent/IXIA Test generator equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Experience in overall architecture of software systems for products and solutions.
  • Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.
  • Evaluating and selecting forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
  • History of innovation with multiple patents or deployed solutions in the field of software design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Test topologies and test cases based on the Business needs of customers
  • Execute the test cases, debug the problems/issues effectively, and follow up with the respective engineering team for issue resolutions
  • Automate the test scenarios in an efficient way for regressive tests
  • The candidate must possess outstanding problem-solving skills in the diagnosis and resolution of customer issues
  • Generate an automated AI report for field and customer consumption.
  • Analyze customer requirements documents (CFDs, CUCs, Topologies, Test Plans, Operational Events, Negative Test Scenarios, etc.)
  • Full test case automation using Python, Copilot and AI enabled Toby Automation Framework (100%)
  • Design/Create detailed customer-specific test topologies and test plans to properly address the given customer or Market Segment scenario
  • Execution, PR creation/triage/verification/closure
  • Customer Encountered Defects (CEDs) analysis, replication, verification, etc.
  • Customer result reporting (creation, review, editing, submission, etc.)
  • Partner with Sales and Service engineers to build the best customer SW experience.
  • Leverages recognized domain expertise, business acumen, and experience to influence decisions of executive business leadership, outsourced development partners, and industry standards groups.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of software systems design and development innovation and excellence.
