Principal Software Engineer Boston, MA Onshape (www.onshape.com), a PTC SaaS business, is the only SaaS product development platform that combines cloud-based CAD and sophisticated collaboration and PDM/PLM functionality. Onshape's data-driven engineering culture encourages innovation, iteration, and continuous improvement. As an Onshape R&D Software Engineer, you'll be working in the Data Management team .You will be instrumental in designing and developing services and APIs that enable agile product development and empower mechanical engineering teams to streamline their design and manufacturing processes.

  • Strong foundation in computer science, data structures, algorithms.
  • 7-10 years software engineering experience
  • Understanding of cloud native architectures.
  • Experience with MongoDB or another NoSQL database.
  • Experience building networked applications with Java or C#.
  • Experience building and using RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript and web UI development.
  • Experience with PDM or PLM
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience
