Our code powers billions of devices worldwide and is a constant target of ever more sophisticated cyber criminals. We own some of the most important foundational technologies in Azure, Windows and Xbox that leverage hardware to help protect our customers’ data and devices. Our goal is to ensure our devices are amongst the most secure in the industry, with strong, hardware-backed guarantees and enforcements that are malware resistant. Our team owns many foundational technologies and platforms such as TPM (Trusted Platform Module), Pluton security processor as well as the Xbox hardware security architecture that our customers rely on for securing their devices.
