We’re seeking a seasoned Principal Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive meaningful business impact across our product capabilities and technical systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in autonomy, navigates ambiguity with confidence, and consistently raises the bar for technical excellence and team collaboration.
You’ll be a key contributor in designing scalable systems, shaping technical roadmaps, and mentoring teammates—all while aligning engineering decisions with long-term business goals and customer impact.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, ideally within the AdTech domain
• Proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions in Java, Python and PHP
• Hands-on experience with: Docker, HCL, GitHub Actions
• Microservices architecture
• OpenFGA, Auth0, RedPanda, AWS
• Mysql
• Strong systems thinking and ability to balance technical depth with business context
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Passion for mentoring, inclusive culture-building, and driving technical excellence

Responsibilities

• Work with and learn from a talented team of engineers and product managers located in India, Switzerland and the United States
• Independently drive initiatives that create measurable business value across teams and systems
• Provide input to the technology roadmap; innovate and bring new challenging ideas to life
• Work with team members and other stakeholders to understand requirements, review user feedback, plan development tasks, and prototype new product features
• Architect robust software and microservices aligned with strategic objectives and long-term scalability
• Ensure high standards through code reviews, design critiques, and technical leadership
• Make informed technical choices rooted in deep understanding of business context and customer needs
• Support teammates’ development with empathetic, constructive feedback and coaching
• Build strong relationships across disciplines, identify talent gaps, and foster inclusive team culture
