In this role, you will lead all aspects of critical systems for delivering innovative education technology platforms, specifically leading technology teams in our Internal Operations business unit which includes our Content Systems, Content workflows and Content AI platforms. You will build and lead remote software engineering organizations using agile principles to architect and deliver high availability enterprise software. You will partner closely with product and design teams and lead through data driven insights, obsessing about customer outcomes in every decision made and driving measurable improvements in user engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of technology leadership experience.
  • Solid understanding of generative AI concepts and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with commercial and open-source GenAI technologies.
  • Experience in modernizing legacy architectures and migrating systems to cloud-native platforms.
  • Track record of architecting and deploying solutions on public cloud platforms.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Skilled in agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with content management systems and digital asset management.
  • Knowledge of content personalization and recommendation engines.
  • Familiarity with content creation tools and publishing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology teams in the Internal Operations business unit.
  • Design, architect, and implement new features and functionality.
  • Communicate technical information clearly across teams.
  • Supervise product performance and analyze performance data.
  • Conduct post-release evaluations and A/B testing.
  • Adopt agile methodologies for iterative development.
  • Work with multi-functional teams to define user stories and prioritize backlog items.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and integrate advancements into product roadmaps.
