About The Position

Are you looking for a Technology Leadership role whereby you can inspire and motivate others? About the role, you will drive architecture decisions, guide the team technically, and ensure code quality. This position also provides assistance and input to management, develops and leads large multifunctional development activities, solves complex technical problems, writes complex code for computer systems, and serves as a senior source of expertise. This is a backfill for Charles Martin who moved to a different group within Firco. This position, which is a Technical Lead for Firco Continuity Team is a very critical role to support the US customers for Firco Continuity and also maintaining V5 & V6 version of the Continuity.

Requirements

• Acting as a Hands-on Technical Lead with deep expertise in VueJs, SpringBoot and DevOps practices to lead a team of full stack developers and deliver high quality enterprise applications.
• Possess hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Restful API's.
• Experience with VueJS or similar frontend frameworks (ReactJS/Angular).
• Have a solid understanding of modern DevOps practices including CI/CD tools, Containerization, IaC (Helm, Terraform).
• Possess Expertise in development languages including but not limited to: VueJS, SpringBoot, Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX.
• Ability to demonstrate DevOps experience, especially CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github Actions, Octopus etc.

Responsibilities

• Leading the design, development and deployment of full-stack application using VueJS & SpringBoot.
• Collaborating with Product Owners, Architects and stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate business needs into robust solutions.
• Optimizing application performance and ensuring scalability, reliability and security of systems.
• Serve as a primary technical point of contact for the team.
• Provide design and architectural input across a product.
• Code Reviews- Working directly with customers and end users. Serve as acknowledged 'go to' person on coding and technical issues.
