We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Software Engineer with expertise in modern software technologies: Go/Java/.NET, microservices, cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, containers, CI/CD, and test automation. As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of the next generation of our closed loop payment processor and network, currently available through Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Albertsons, Dollar General, and other major retailers. This network processes $10B+ in payments annually and is doubling every year. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products. Solid problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, a deep understanding of software engineering principles, and an understanding of highly available and resilient systems are essential for this role. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
