Virtual Service Operations is searching for a highly experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure software systems while leading architectural decisions and mentoring junior engineers. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contributing to engineering process improvements, and staying current with emerging technologies. Candidates should have 10–15+ years of software engineering experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to obtain Client’s Public Trust clearance. Experience with cloud services, containerization, DevOps tools, and ITSM frameworks is preferred. Telework is available, with occasional on-site presence required in Hampton, VA. This role involves expert-level software engineering, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and debugging software for both enhancements and new systems. Responsibilities span the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, hardware compatibility assessment, and the development of tools and platforms that support infrastructure and system maintenance.
